I don't know what I was expecting when I bought this book, but it was not at all what I was expecting. This completely and utterlly blew my mind. It opened pandora's box of what concentration truly means. It's a look into concentration that just doesn't exist.
This book was well organized and insightful. Parts of it, like the visualization action steps would work best in audio, so I'll be looking to see if there's an audio version or recording myself reading to actually do those exercises. I found the chapters on distractions the most helpful. The one about addiction as an internal distraction surprised me the most. I started off only skimming it, thinking my only 2 addictions (chocolate and books) are well managed, so I didn't think anything in that chapter would apply to me. But I ended up going back and actually reading it as I realized there were other possibilities that have been messing with me.
